Founded in April 2011, St. Xavier's School is an educational institution run by the Darjeeling Province of the Society of Jesus. Our school is situated in the serene town of Alipurduar, West Bengal. We are committed to providing a holistic education that nurtures the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual growth of our students.
We are a Christian Minority Co-Educational Institution as per Article-29-30 of the Constitution of india. Owned and managed by Xavier Educational Society of North Bengal; registered under West Bengal Societies Registration Act XXVI of 1961- Reg, No. S/11, 23689).We have classes from Nursery to Class 12.

Our vision
Following the values of Jesus Christ and the spirituality of St Ignatius of Loyola, St Xavier's School aims at forming the young to be men and women for others and promote the emergence of a humane and egalitarian Indian society. "There are two types of education - one that teaches you how to make a living and other that teaches you how to live." The aim of education at Xavier's is to focus more on the formation of the youth rather than just imparting knowledge. In a world that is getting more and more bankrupt on basic human values, Xavierians are trained to become better human beings. The school inculcates the qualities of a passion for excellence, desire for freedom, courage, confidence, spirit of inquisitiveness etc. in its students. Education at Xavier's transcends the boundaries of the classrooms. The four walls of the classroom and what happens there do not only define education. The teachers as well as students are infused with a rare passion much like that of our patron saint and the Founder of the Society of Jesus- St. Francis Xavier and St. Ignatius of Loyola respectively. Without being overtly spoken about these great Saints have found their way into the life blood of every Xaverian and teacher alike.
